Dr. Powerwash Tip Off Tournament Championship in Stanardsville

We were happy to attend the Dr. Powerwash Basketball Tip-Off Tournament in Stanardsville, VA. It was an exciting high school basketball environment and extremely enjoyable to attend. We enjoy completing our pressure washing services but we enjoy watching sports even more!

During Day 1, Goochland High School defeated Culpeper High School in a physical battle. The Bulldogs hung on to a win despite a 4th quarter surge from the Blue Devils. During the 2nd game of Day 1, William Monroe High School used pressure defense to defeat Manassas Park High School.

When asked about the game senior captain Will Rawlings said, "I thought we played really well as a team our assist numbers show that; we're all looking forward to making some noise this year and working to reach the goals we've set."

All four teams were back the next day for a second round of games. Culpeper High School played much better and beat Manassas Park in the consolation game. After the consolation game, host team William Monroe High School faced Goochland High School.

William Monroe got off to an early lead and never stopped. The Dragons were led by captains Will Rawlings, Brady Lam, and Timmy Guertin. Lam averaged 26 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3 assists during the 2 tournament games. Guertin scored 11 points in the championship game and led the team in assists. Rawlings made 5 three-pointers over the two games. Drew Britton, Bryson Douglas, Gavin Battaile-Gilbert, and Trey Lam also had strong showings in the tournament.

Overall, our team at Dr. Powerwash was proud to sponsor the event and pleased to be part of the exciting environment.
